| 1. When did you know you wanted this as your career? |
I saw that it wasn’t a career that had many successful women in and I’ve always been on to push for a woman to been seen in “male roles”

| My favourite part of this job is being able to connect with different people, people I wouldn’t normally connect with. |
| 3. Any advice to anyone thinking of this as a career? |
| Take your time! You won’t be perfect at the beginning and its really important to listen to those around you to improve your skill. I’ve been doing it his nearly half my life and I’m still learning. |
| 4. Top tip? |
| Customer care/satisfaction is a massive part of the job. You can give the best cut but if you’ve neglected the customer/client you’ve let your whole service down and most people won’t come back. It’s a bit like “happy wife happy life” within this job. |
| 5. Who is the most famous person you have cut? |
| I wouldn’t know even if I had. I’m not a massive tv person. |
| 6. What is your favourite product to use and why? |
| I get really excited about products, it completes the look but I can’t say my favourite as everyone’s hair is different and all need a different product. Whatever completes the look and makes the customer feel good when leaving my chair. |
